Plain concrete
Plain concrete is usual for projects like shed slabs and is most often specified for driveways, pathways, and outdoor areas. Plain concrete is the cheapest of all available finishes, yet it can have a fundamental beauty of its own. Over the long course of its dutiful life, plain concrete surfaces can be pressure-washed, and enhanced by concrete sealing.
Coloured concrete
Coloured concrete has become fashionable again with many more options available to suit architectural styles and outdoor living trends. Exposed aggregate
Exposed aggregate is a hard-wearing, anti-slip, decorative finish achieved by removing the top layer (“fines”) from the concrete to expose the aggregation of small stones, pebbles, shells, etc, underneath.
